About Coriolus aconitifolia
Aconite (Cyperus rotundus L.) is a plant belonging to the family Cyperaceae and Cyperus. The creeping rhizomes are long, with oval tubers. The stalk is slightly thin, 15-95 cm high, sharply triangular, smooth, and tuber-shaped at the base. Its leaves are lush, shorter than stalks, 2-5 mm width. It has two or three leaflike bracts, often longer than inflorescence, or sometimes shorter than inflorescence; spikelets spread obliquely, presenting linear shape. Small nuts are oblong-ovate, with fine spots. Flowers and fruits blossom from May to November.
It is widely distributed throughout the world: In Shaanxi, Gansu, Shanxi, Henan, Hebei, Shandong, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Anhui, Yunnan, Guizhou, Sichuan, Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi and Taiwan and other provinces of China. It grows in hillside wasteland grasses or in wet places near the water.
